Logga In

Apparently here in Sweden, one does not merely 'log in', one must LOGGA IN. It also appears that a password is called a Lösenord. That sounds like something which might entail a scary visit to the doctor's office.

Speaking of scary, either late tonight or early tomorrow, our luggage is supposed to arrive. Damn I hate Delta.

It turns out that we happen to have arrived on the day of the Stockholm Marathon. So naturally all the riff-raff (and, perhaps, even a few of the landed gentry) have turned out to egg them on. Being the suspicious bastard that I am, I cannot help but wonder who amongst the crowd are laying odds that freckled-dick Björn is going to be the first one to drop.

PMT...This is awesome...I am keeping fingers crossed on the luggage for you...Hoping it arrives before you leave...I never understand how they manage to misplace things so badly...wasn't it a direct flight?

This looks lovely and I am so excited for you...

Love the log in words...hope they have a salve or something to treat that!

Take care, enjoy and I hope your luggage catches up to you...DELTA...Doesn't Ever Leave The Aiport! LOL

Hah! So this is where you are.

Thank goodness you're all right. I didn't hear anything about you after you got into the Lucid.

I hope that your bags had a good time in Paris. It sounds like you made a very informed decision about the flight...hope they are right about the bags.

CA is having some ISP problems so it may be hit and miss through the weekend...The first photo is so lovely...having never been in Scandanavia it is all great for me...hoping by the time you read this they have dropped off your bags. How many days before you "set sail"?

Argyle...good to see you here.

The bags arrived shortly after 11PM (GMT+1). What a relief!

I know you must be thinking, "WH has time to get involved in all kinds of shit that's really none of his business on the other corner, but he doesn't have time to tell me the story he promised". Here are my excuses (one of my mother's favorite sayings was " a poor excuse is better than none".
It's a very long story.
I'm typing on an Iphone.

It's somewhat of a tragic story, in the Greek play sense.
I'm pretty stressed about a lot of "stuff" right now.

I'm immersed in hay, with the blog and the Irish my only diversions.
Two damn nice diversions, though.

Except for haying, I'm lazy as hell lately.
No defense.

I promise you'll get this story before long.

You are the voice of reason. I wish I
Could sit down with you and Fred for a few hours sometime. I love your poetic submissions, even though much of it sails over my head. I do try. I don't know how much is available online, but there are two poetry related articles in the June 8 issue of The Nation. One is titled "Comfort and Agony", the other "No Ideas but in Crowds".

Argyle:
Great to see you here. It's always a pleasure to see what you have to offer on any topic that comes up. Stick around.
The boss here is out of the country, if not out of mind. He may be surprised to see what we've done with the place when he gets back.
